I am interning at Penguin Group and I abso-fruitly love it. The people are really nice and the work is interesting. I only have a week and a half left and it is so sad. No good.
The CMAs are on television right now. Miranda Lambert was nominated for nine awards and already won one and performed. I remember watching one year (of CMAs or AMAs I don't remember) when she FINALLY won one award. I literally FELL OFF MY CHAIR. Because it was such a long time coming for her and she had deserved to win so much more.
Jennifer Nettles is sitting next to Taylor Swift and that makes me happy.
School has been okay, just finished midterms which I am glad about. Finals shouldn't be bad, it's the projects in between that are going to be annoying.
I am getting excited for the new Harry Potter movie which we are going to see at midnight on the 18th. Technically the 19th, obviously. I don't actually enjoy the HP movies much but I am stoked anyway.
Best friend Sarah came to visit last Friday and it was adorable and epic! We had a girls night in with MayMay, Dan, Kristin, and Alison. We played pink poker, had sundaes, and watched Jane Austen Book Club. A completely sensational evening if I do say so myself.
Alicia came over on Saturday and us birds had a grand old time at Turtle Bay in Manhattan. We also got $.99 pizza at the end of the night which was wondrous.
I should probably go get guest passes for the people who are coming over this weekend.
